二月四日，星期五，晴天。
The weather of Taiwan was not unlike a moody lady; cold and windy one day, hot and sunny the other.
We took advantage of the fine weather and ventured to the picturesque Sun Moon Lake, which was located in the central region of Taiwan.
The journey was 3 hours by car, but the view was worth every second. We took a boat trip across the lake and climbed stairs to reach a temple surrounded by aqua marine water and pink cherry blossoms.
Next stop was by cable car traversing two hills to reach the Formosan Cultural Village. It was a grander version of the cultural village we have here in Kuching, with cultural shows, activities and showcase houses. Plus beautiful landscaped gardens. Plus an amusement park.
Night time was spent at another night market where we continue to savour the various gastronomic delights Taiwan had to offer.
